Authorities say the man arrested, and subsequently released, in connection with several of the Phoenix freeway shootings last year has been arrested again.
Leslie Merritt, Jr. was taken into custody Wednesday night in connection with a domestic violence incident in Glendale.
Glendale police say Merritt was arrested for violating an order of protection in the area of 67th Avenue and Bethany Home Road. He was taken into custody without incident, police said.
Merritt, Jr. was released in April after all charges against him were dismissed in connection with several of the freeway shootings.
