According to a release sent by McSally’s office, former Massachusetts governor and current U.S. Senate candidate in Utah Mitt Romney will be in Gilbert at 2:30 p.m. Friday for a public event at the Falls Event Center, near Baseline and Greenfield roads.

The Friday event is open to the public and aimed at getting people to vote in the upcoming election, according to organizers.

Romney is currently running for a Senate seat in Utah as well, after winning the Republican primary for the upcoming election.

Former President George W. Bush will also be in town later this month to support McSally, according to The Hill.

The Hill reports the Oct. 19 event will cost $2,700 to attend, and $5,000 for a picture with the former president.

Democratic candidate Kyrsten Sinema is also attending several events over the next month, including debates at Univision and PBS.
