A dog caused a lot of trouble for East Valley drivers on Monday.
The black lab was seen roaming the US 60 at Gilbert Road for about 30 minutes. Video from the scene showed drivers stopping their vehicles to get out and try and rescue the dog.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the dog was under a truck at one point and tried to bite a driver who was trying to capture it.
The black lab was finally captured near Stapley Drive after several DPS troopers cornered the dog. (Watch video of the rescue in the player above)
Air15 video showed the dog being transported to a Maricopa County animal shelter.
The dog has not been identified but Mesa Animal Control was looking for the dog before it ran onto the freeway.
