The Pima County Sheriff's Department said farewell to Sgt. Aldo Lopex Friday.
Sgt. Lopex is retiring from the department after 20 years of service to Pima County community.
Due to circumstances with COVID-19 Sgt. Lopex wasn't able to have a standard retirement ceremony, but his fellow deputies showed their gratitude for him with a parade of vehicles around the department building.
Sgt. Lopex said "Thank you to every single district and every single deputy for their unwavering support these last several days. from new to senior please stay united as one. may the lord bless you and take care of each other."
