UPDATE (5:28 p.m.):
According to a news release from the Pima Regional Critical Incident Team, two deputies were involved in the shooting of the man on Tucson's south side, Friday morning.
While deputies initially responded to reports of a woman being shot, detectives discovered the only person injured at the home was the man shot by deputies.
Detectives are looking into this incident as a potential swatting call, where a false report is made to law enforcement.

According to a Pima County Sheriff's Department spokesperson, deputies initially responded to a call of a woman being shot.
Upon arrival, they encountered a man with a gun.
According to the spokesperson, a deputy shot him.
The man shot was transported with non-life-threatening injuries.
No word on the condition of the woman.

Deputies are on the scene of an officer-involved shooting south of Tucson.
The Pima County Sheriff's Department posted to X Friday morning that they'd activated the Pima Regional Incident Team for a deputy-involved shooting off S Nogales Hwy.
The Pima Regional Incident Team is a specialized group inside the Department that investigates officer-involved deaths.
