A Marana Police Department officer was involved in a two-vehicle collision Saturday morning while on her way to a community event.
Police said the crash happened around 6 a.m. near Ajo Way and Camino de Oeste.
The officer was transported to a hospital for evaluation and has since been discharged. She sustained no major injuries, police said.
The officer has not been identified. The Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
