SIERRA VISTA, Ariz. (KGUN) — A wrong-way driver caused a crash around 3 p.m. at Buffalo Soldier Trail and Avenida Cochise, police said.
Officers say a woman driving a Chevrolet Trax southbound in the northbound lanes collided with a Nissan Pathfinder, causing the Trax to roll and damage nearby vehicles. The driver tried to flee but was arrested.
Both drivers were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect faces multiple charges, including aggravated DUI.
