The former Northern Arizona University student accused of killing one student and injuring three others will go back to court early next year.
The original trial for Steven Jones ended on May 2, with the jury unable to decide guilt or innocence.
Jones claims he shot because he was terrified after a group chased him and physically threatened him.
His retrial is set to being in March.
