It's a growing trend across Southern Arizona, putting leagues for seniors.
There are now 134 members of the Saddlebrooke Men's Putters Club.
A group that competes once a week at their home course of Saddlebrooke Country Club.
So why putting and not a full 18-holes?
Remember, nearly half of a golfer's strokes come on the green.
September 9, they will putt for charity.
That's where the 2nd annual Jeff Shields - Charles Schwab senior men's putting tournamanet comes in.
Nearly 20-teams from Southern Arizona will compete for cash and prizes, with most of the proceeds going to the American Diabetes Association.
The rest will go to youth golf in the area, as the senior putters look to the future of their game
