It’s a question most of us would be happy to ask: What to do on my 100th birthday?
Mary Will-Kelsh threw a party at her home in an assisted living community with longtime friends and family.
She said there’s no secret behind her long life or avoiding going gray.
The Tucson native has seen many changes in the city since 1916, she says the area’s growth is awe-inspiring, “We had a wonderful life when it was small,” she said. “We had to work hard to get any place.”
She specifically recalls exercising in Reid Park to get ready for a trip to Europe in the 1980’s. She jokes she was prepping to meet the Queen, but when she arrived at Buckingham Palace Her Majesty had just stepped out.
