If you're not already busy with fall sports practices, hayrack rides or pumpkin-related festivities, we've got a fun idea for next Saturday.
Home Depot is hosting yet another ridiculously fun and completely free workshop for kids this month.
On Saturday, Oct. 7, your kids can build a coin bank that's shaped like a fire station. This event runs from 9 a.m. to noon.
After they build the coin bank, they'll get to decorate it with paint and stickers.
Plus, they get to take it home afterward! A morning of free entertainment AND a piggy bank? Count us in!
Your child will also get a certificate of achievement, a commemorative pin and a workshop apron.
You can register for the event by
visiting the Home Depot website
.
Plus, this is the perfect opportunity to talk with your kids about the power of saving money. Not to suck the fun out of this workshop, but it could be a good segway for encouraging them to save their pennies!
