Have you been on the bubble about joining Amazon Prime?
You'd like free shipping on everything, and access to movies, but you don't feel like paying $99 a year?
Then you are in luck this weekend: Amazon has temporarily lowered the price by more more than $25, to just $73 a year.
Why $73? It's to honor Amazon's new show, Mozart in the Jungle, winning an award at the recent 73rd annual Golden Globe Awards. Cute.
So What's the Catch?
Many potential customers are asking "what's the catch?"
If you are a new customer, there is none.
The only downside is that existing customers cannot renew at this low price. Amazon has removed a workaround that allowed current Prime customers to renew for the new price.
However, if you are interested, you need to act fast.
The deal expires Sunday, January 17th, at 11:59 p.m.
