Arizona overcame a sleepy first half to defeat the Washington Huskies by a score of 77-66 on Sunday at the McKale Center.

Senior guard Kadeem Allen finished with a team-high 14 points and added 5 assists.

Seattle native Allonzo Trier contributed 12 points off the bench in his third game of the regular season.

Washington was led by freshman phenom Markelle Fultz who led the Dawgs with a team-high 16 points.

Ultimately, the stingy Arizona defense allowed the Wildcats get back into the game in the second half as freshmen Lauri Markkanen and Rawle Alkins each hit clutch three-pointers.

Arizona (20-2, 9-0) is scheduled to play again next Thursday night at 7 p.m. on the road against Oregon State. The game can be seen on ESPN2.
