While Phoenix may have already hit 100 degrees this year, up north, skiers and snowboarders still have time to hit the slopes at Arizona Snowbowl.

The Flagstaff ski resort announced Wednesday morning that it was extending its season for an additional two weekends in May, making this year its "longest season ever," according to a tweet. The previous record was set during the 2016-2017 season, the resort said.

The resort said it received a whopping 333 inches of snow this year, which is the second-highest amount in its history.

Specific lifts and trails will be open on May 3-5, 11-12 and 18-19. Lift tickets for May 3-5 are $29-$49. There is no cost for those 10 and younger and 70+.

Pricing for lift tickets for the May 11-12 and 18-19 weekends was not yet announced.

Arizona Snowbowl said it does not release its visitation numbers, but claims that it has seen "double-digit growth" over the 2018 season, according to a release on its website.

“We’re all skiers at heart – that’s why we’re in the business that we’re in – and want to be on the slopes just as long as our guests,” said general manager JR Murray, in an online statement. “We will continue to evaluate mountain conditions and keep everyone abreast of a closing date.”

Over the Cinco de Mayo weekend the resort will have live music on Saturday from 1 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. and 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 5.
