A dog that was found stuck on a Phoenix roof alone has been rescued by the Arizona Humane Society and is now up for adoption.
The Humane Society says nine-month-old “Rufio” was found by a good Samaritan on the roof of the home, with no explanation of how he got there or how long he was stuck.
Emergency Animal Medical Technicians with the humane society say the dog was extremely “wiggly” and ecstatic to see them when they joined him on the roof. Watch video of his rescue in the player above.
EAMTs were able to get the dog down successfully.
Rufio is now available for adoption at the Arizona Humane Society's Sunnyslope Campus.
