A soldier who has been missing since August 25 is presumed dead according to the Defense Department.
The Pentagon has identified the soldier missing as Army Staff Sgt. Emil Rivera-Lopez. He went missing off the coast of Yemen after a Black Hawk helicopter crash.
Senator McCain confirmed that Rivera-Lopez is from Tucson.

According to a press release from the Military, Rivera-Lopez was assigned to the elite 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment.
