Police release more details in homicide

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Tucson Police have released more information regarding a homicide that happened near Roger and Oracle Sunday night.

Sgt. Pete Dugan said someone called 911 and said a body was lying on or near the sidewalk on the north side of Roger Rd.

When officers arrived on scene, they found the body of a man in his 20's that was believed to have been there for "a little while."

The victim has been identified as 22-year-old Eloy Moore according to police. Police say he was involved in a confrontation in the Target parking lot located at 4040 North Oracle Rd.

The confrontation occurred on Sunday at around 6:15 p.m. near the dumpsters behind Radio Shack. Moore was shot and killed during the incident. 

Police are looking for a white or cream colored four-door passenger car that may be associated with the crime. 

No suspects are in custody and police are asking for the public's help to find the shooter. If you have any information call 911 or 88-CRIME.
