The Pima County Elections Department says it is a common misconception, not being able to vote without a photo ID. However, the law says there are many other acceptable forms of identification that will allow Arizonans to vote.
Voters without a photo ID can use two of the following:
- A utility bill that is dated within 90 days from election day. Those can include an electric, gas, water, cable or even cell-phone bills.
- Voters can also use a bank statement or valid Arizona vehicle registration or vehicle insurance card.
- A U.S. Passport is also acceptable.
Voters who are unable to provide any of these valid identifications should be provided with a conditional provisional ballot.
However the ballot will be counted after they bring valid identification to their polling location before 7:00 p.m. on election day.
They can to the County Recorder's office or elections department ten days from November 8th.
