According to MSN.com, the city of Tucson is rated the worst the city in the state of Arizona in which to live.

The Old Pueblo was rated worst because of its high poverty, unemployment rates, and slow economic growth.

Currently, Tucson's poverty rate is 25.2% which is the highest of any large city in the Grand Canyon State. The national poverty rate is 14.7%.

Michael Varney, President and CEO of Tucson Metro Chamber says, "when you hand select a couple of statistics and the entire assessment of the city -- any city can land on the continuum of best to worst."

Adding, that if you look at the City as a whole package - it's not bad.

Varney mentioned that exceptional University of Arizona, restaurants and climate.

Dan Gibson, Director of Communications with Visit Tucson says for people who visit and live in Tucson -- "They get it."

Gibson says it's up to us to make Tucson. "People want to see recommendations from people who actually live here and if you live in Tucson and love it, share it on social media posts about what you love about the city and more instagram," says Gibson.
