21-year-old Hannah Parkhurst has died after she was hit by a drunk driver on Pantano and Stella two weeks ago.

The alleged drunk driver, Erin Eman is facing a laundy list of charges and could face more.

Mary Wiese watched Hannah grow up into the woman many people grew to love. Her daughter Ceighley and Hannah have been best friends since the 1st grade.

"Hannah walked up to my daughter because they look alike and said you look just like me! and then she said, you're wearing my jacket," said Wiese.

Since then, the two girls have been attached at the hip.

Many people know Hannah as a ball of energy and enthusiastic.

Kathleen Hogue described her as "loving, compassionate and giving."

"Hannah is a shining light in this world," said Hogue.

Hannah was on her way to her babysitting job when 32-year-old, Erin Elizabeth Eman T-boned her car on Pantano and Stella. The crash seriously injured Hannah.

After two weeks of fighting for her life, Hannah died Wednesday night alongside her family and friends.

"She has brought so much joy to everyone that she has touched," said Hogue.

Hannah's parents are asking anyone who was touched by Hannah to reflect on love, happiness and goodwill to others they cross paths with so that her legacy of love, kindness and happiness will live on.

She was known as the girl whose behavior was contagious and known to not sweat the small stuff.

Police say the woman accused of hitting Hannah is also suspected of crashing into several other cars before striking Hannah. Eman is facing more than 22 charges including DUI, endangerment and leaving the scene of an accident. This is not her only run in with the law.

Eman is currently out of jail but will be back in court Aug. 16. If you would like to donate to the family for funeral arrangements, click here.
