Deputies from the Pima County Sheriff's Department are searching for two suspects who they say used a cloned debit card to purchase a $400 gift card on August 6.

Deputy Ryan Inglett, a spokesman for the department, says the man and woman entered the Ross store located 4425 North Oracle Road and tried to purchase the gift card using three different debit/credit cards that were declined.

Inglett says the suspects then tried a fourth card, which contained stolen debit card information, and the transaction went through.

From the use of the cards that were declined, detectives are working to identify other potential victims.

Detectives are asking for the public's help in locating the suspects.

The male suspect is described as being Hispanic with black or brown hair, 5'8" in height and an average build. He was last seen wearing a short sleeve button-down shirt, jeans, and white shoes.

The female suspect is described as being Hispanic with long dark hair, 5'6" in height and a small build. She was last seen wearing a dark shirt, white shorts, and sandals.

Anyone with information is asked to call 9-1-1.
