Wind brings fire concerns and cooler temps

Not much change in our weather pattern through Thursday. We’ll see highs near 100 degrees through Friday. But winds will bring some changes for the weekend.

Gusty winds will blow in Friday and Saturday. And with extremely dry conditions, this will also bring fire concerns to southern Arizona.

Highs will drop 5 to 10 degrees for the weekend, dropping to the low to mid 90s. Tucson’s average temp around this time is 89 to 90 degrees.
