TUCSON, Ariz. - Some of the hottest temps of the season will be felt today, across much of southern Arizona. Tucson will come dangerously close to it's first 110 degrees.
The Excessive Heat Warning is in effect from 10 AM to 9 PM today.
Starting late tonight and especially early Friday morning, strong east winds will pick up between 20 and 30 mph. We typically see our strongest winds in the afternoon, but that won't be the case Friday.
A Wind Advisory is in effect from 3 AM to 3 PM Friday. Sustained winds will blow up to 30 mph, with wind gusts between 40 and 50 mph during these hours.
