A Fire Weather Watch is in affect for all southeast Arizona from 11 a .m. to 8 p.m. Thursday. South winds will pick up between 20 and 30 mph, gusting in the 40s. Even stronger winds expected in the mountains. Any fires that develop, will have the potential to spread rapidly.

Blowing dust will also be a concern, especially on I-10 between Tucson and Phoenix, and in Cochise county. Morning wind gusts could reach 30 mph, with afternoon gusts as high as 50 mph.
Highs will warm back to the 80s today, near 90 Thursday, then a brief drop to the 70s on Friday. Low 90s return over the weekend and early next week.
