TUCSON, Ariz. — High winds have upped the amount of particulates in the air Thursday.
The Pima County Department of Environmental Quality issued an Air Quality Health Watch for Thursday, Dec. 3. Monitors that measure particulate matter are in the "moderate" range. Because rain is not in the forecast, wind-blown particles could linger in the air.
Those with heart or lung diseases should take it easy when spending time outside Monday.
