Fundraising event for the 1908 Old Vail Store & Post Office
Vail’s only remaining pre-statehood building
Vail Preservation Society is hosting a screening of Voices of Vail, a documentary film. Every community if full of stories, America’s story is reflected in its small towns and communities. This screening is planned as a fundraising event to support the restoration of the 1908 Old Vail Store & Post Office. This National Register Listed building is the only pre-statehood building left in Vail.
It was the hub for an area of about 400 square miles. "We plan for it to serve the community in that way again. It will become the Vail Welcome & Heritage Center when the work is completed."
