Child-Parent Centers was founded in 1967 in Tucson Arizona. We provide Head Start services to children and families in Pima, Cochise, Graham, Greenlee, and Santa Cruz counties. Head start is a comprehensive federal program administered by the Office of Head Start, within the Administration of Children and Families of the Department of Health and Human Services.
Our Head Start program offers both in classroom and home based learning programs. Our educators are skilled early childhood professionals who work with you as the child's first and most important teacher. We also provide your child with nourishing food to promote intellectual and social development. We recognize that parents are the primary educators, nurturers and advocates to their children. You will have opportunities to participate in the decision making in every area of the program. Our program focuses on the healthy development of your child and family.
