PHOENIX (AP) — The coronavirus pandemic has put AAU basketball on hold and left non-elite recruits in a tough spot.

The inability to play in front of college coaches this summer could limit the options for middle-of-the-road and borderline Division I recruits.

The summer circuits are a chance to catch coaches' eyes by showing off their intangible skills, but now they're forced to rely on sending film and keeping up communication while trying to stay in shape for the day basketball finally does return.
