TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A bicyclist is dead after being hit by a car at Skyline and Sunrise, according to Pima County Sheriff's Department.
Deputy Ryan Inglett said a woman bicyclist was in the designated bicycle lane when she was hit.
The bicyclist has been identified as 69-year-old Patricia Lyon-Surrey. Surrey is from Vermont and was here on vacation.
The driver, 89-year-old James Jacobson, was in a silver sedan and he stayed on scene to answer questions.
Inglett said Jacobson showed no signs of impairment.
The roads are now open.
