A "Black Lives Matter" vigil took place Saturday evening at Armory Park in downtown Tucson. Before it began, a police bomb-sniffing dog cleared the grounds. Police kept their distance, manning posts on the perimeter of Armory Park. Cars were not allowed to park close to the event. Police blocked off streets surrounding Armory Park as a security measure. The crowd, which numbered several hundred, was peaceful.
