1. Healthy Paws
They pay up to 90% of your pet's vet bill and you can use any licensed veterinarian you want. But there is a catch. In order to provide affordable accident and illness coverage, they don’t cover office visits..
2. Petplan
With three levels of coverage, you can pick a plan that works for you. The gold plan covers vacation cancellation in case your pet gets sick. If you don't need all that, save money with their bronze plan. On average, plans cost about a dollar a day.
3. Embrace
This one allows you to customize your policy by setting annual maximum coverage, your deductible, and reimbursement percentages. And they offer many discounts, including a 5% discount if your pet is payed or neutered, not bad.
Having pet insurance can really help offset some emergency costs, If they accidentally swallow a toy or a bone, or get injured, you can have a $2,000 bill that you weren't prepared for.. Health insurance for your pet can offset those costs.
