Google's Duplex artificial intelligence (AI) will soon be making phone calls to make your life easier.
The search giant is testing Duplex which will call and make appointments and reservations for you.
A few businesses will take calls from Duplex over the next few weeks. The AI talks to humans on the other line.
Those who have seen it in action say it's almost creepily human and that it says "uhh" and "uhm" to make the conversation seem more real.
Duplex won't answer questions that don't relate to its task.
Google is still working on the tech so there's no official launch window for the feature.
