Hurricane Harvey continues to be the priority for many organizations as Hurricane Irma threatens the Southeast.

Worldcare Organization is planning a dual response depending on how hard this hurricane Irma hits the mainland.

The donations continue to pour in for the millions of people directly affected by Hurricane Harvey.

"This was such a devastating disaster that had long term affects so while we're not seeing people displaced from their homes they have a road ahead of them regarding rebuilding and rebuilding their entire life," says Courtney Slanaker, Executive Director or Worldcare.

As the initial response is over in Texas - there is still work to be done.

"That's kind of where we fit in." Adding, "we can get the supplies as they start to go into that rebuilding phase," says Slanaker.

Worldcare is now bracing themselves for possibly another disaster as Hurricane Irma head towards Florida.

"We have our eye on Irma to see what's happening," says Slanaker.

While both disasters are hurricanes - the organization responds to each one differently.

"Florida might need completely different supplies than Harvey needs." Adding, "we want to make sure that we send supplies that are usable in the community," says Slanaker.
