A woman is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after being run over by a bus Saturday.
According to Sgt. Pete Dugan with the Tucson Police Department, the collision occurred near 1st Avenue and Grant Road.
The woman reportedly boarded the bus while intoxicated. She began arguing with the person she was with, causing the bus driver to ask her to get off the bus.
Upon exiting the bus, the woman started to walk away. As the bus started driving, the woman then came back and started hitting the outside of the bus, causing her to be run over.
