Police have arrested a suspect they said sexually abused a female student around 9 a.m. Monday on a sidewalk in the 1500 block of E. Speedway Boulevard.
Djamel Benslimane is being held in the Pima County Jail on charges of sexual abuse after he was identified by the victim, according to University of Arizona Police.
According to a release the Benslimane wrapped his arms around the female student and grabbed her buttocks and genital area outside her clothing. The victim was able to push the him away and call 911.
