TUCSON, Ariz. — To help make sure University of Arizona students are fed, the UA Campus Pantry is now open three days a week.
Previously, it was either one or two days.
KGUN 9 visited the pantry. Coordinators expect about 700 students every week to stock up on food.
The UA Campus Food Pantry is the only college food bank in the country that has a student-run roof-top garden to provide fresh vegetables. The pantry is a free resource to students and donations are always welcome. For more information about what types of donations are needed and how to donate, click here.
The pantry was founded in 2012.
