Two truck inspections find $4.5 million worth of drugs in northern Arizona

NAVAJO COUNTY, Ariz. — Authorities confiscated an estimated $4.5 million worth of drugs during two traffic stops in northern Arizona.

The first stop led to the arrest of a father and his 19-year-old son. The trooper conducting the search found 76 pounds of cocaine, 40 pounds of methamphetamine, and two firearms. The pair, Vincent M. Rowe and Vincent M. Rowe Jr., are from California.

At the second stop, authorities discovered 11.8 pounds of cocaine in a commercial vehicle. The driver, Damiano Oando Rowe, was arrested.

The stops occurred on I-40 near Holbrook.
