Two months ago the Burro Fire sparked near Mount Lemmon and burned for over 27,000 acres and forced evacuations.

This impacted businesses in the area since they missed one of their busiest days of the year, July 4.

"It was very difficult for the business as we missed our July 4th weekend, which is basically our biggest day of the year and without that income it became very difficult for us but we cant stay down we have to just keep looking forward and moving forward."

Bryan English works at the Cookie Cabin. He says they are expecting hundreds of people to come through Summerhaven during this holiday weekend.

"It's important to say that we're still here, we're still in business, still doing great and we seem to be getting more and more customers all the time. People are leaving with smiles on their faces and although it was tough that we missed out because of that fire that came through here,  I think we're still going to make the most of it."
