Two baby javelina being cared for at Tucson Wildlife Center

Two baby javelina are being cared for at the Tucson Wildlife Center after well-meaning people took them from their herd according to a release.

The babies still had their umbilical cords attached.

The Tucson Wildlife Center wants to remind people that if they encounter baby javelina, do not pick them up.

Leave the area to allow the herd to return to their babies.

If you are concerned about the well-being of the animal call the Tucson Wildlife Center.

The two baby javelina will be placed with the Center's two adult javelina who have fostered hundreds of other orphaned animals.

These babies will eventually be released on a safe ranch site.

For more information, you can call the Tucson Wildlife Center at 520-290-9453.
