The Tucson Unified School District is hosting Kindergarten events for the next couples to get kids ready for the transition into school.

TUCSON, Ariz. — The Tucson Unified School District is hosting Kindergarten events for the next couples to get kids ready for the transition into school.

These events are open to all parents and children, to get familiarized with the school, teachers and classrooms. The open houses started January 28th and will run until March.

Even though we're only in March, one teacher said it's never to early to start getting your little one ready for full-time school.

“Kindergarten is an exciting thing," Kindergarten teacher Mackenzie Kiewels said. "They come and they have so much fun and they grow so much in such a small amount of time and they love it and they have fun at school every single day and I know it can be a little scary for kinder and there parents, but it’s something to look forward too."
