TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Tucson Unified School's Superintendent Dr. H.T. Sanchez took on the role of myth buster tonight at the State of the District.
The Superintendent disputes a statement which he hears often- that TUSD never does anything good.
"We've brought back 200 dropouts, and already 40 of them have graduated, all because of the hardwork," Sanchez stated.
Dr. Sanchez went on to say that TUSD has received numerous awards for its progress, including the Governor's Award for improvements in energy and technology.
