TUCSON, Ariz. — A Tucson woman is set to appear on "Wheel of Fortune" this week.

Carolyn Pittman says she got the gig after she went to Casino Del Sol back in March when the "Wheelmobile" came to town. After that day, she was invited to a second audition where she played games and took a five-minute written test with puzzles.

Once she was told she would appear on the show, she said her only plan was to make it a family affair.

"I was just very, very hopeful that I could get to the bonus round because I wanted to have the opportunity to introduce my husband and my mother, who came with me," she said. "So that was the only thing I was even anxious about -- was hoping to get to the bonus round -- but I can't say whether I did or not, you've got to watch the show!"

The episode is set to air Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. on KGUN 9. Pittman says she plans to watch at home with her husband.
