Tucson is seeing progress in finding housing for homeless veterans.
The Tucson Veterans Association held their 6th annual homeless veterans' summit on Wednesday.
With the help of city officials the VA has been working to get veterans off the streets and into homes.
"I think roughly Tucson has about 300 homeless veterans that we need to house. And I believe overall that Tucson has housed about 1,600 homeless people. So we're really improving. We've got a ways to go, but we're getting there," Jodi Fredrick, the rehab program director said.
