Attorneys for a Tucson man accused of terrorism says he has been attacked in the Maricopa County Jail.
Officials at the jail says Khan was offered the chance to be held in "voluntary segregation" but he declined.
Sheriff Joe Arpaio has ordered Khan to be placed in segregation.
The 18-year-old is being held without bail on charges that he was planning terror attacks.
