Juan Bayardo of Tucson is about to embark on a journey of a lifetime.

Bayardo is a tradesman and writer. He is planning to work his way through all 50 states in what he calls, "a tradesman's internet survival tour."

According to his website, Bayardo's goal is to "prove a person, in our day, can earn some income with whatever skills or talents they possess. Assuming ,of course, they are willing and are able to work if they want or need to get paid!  Just with the tap of a finger on their phone or computer."

Bayardo plans to log more than 12,000 miles in his truck while looking for work.

"In order to accomplish this tour, I will  be primarily using Craigslist gigs section, and my Facebook connections as my only source of income for the next 6-8 months, unheard of just a few years ago, before the internet era became what it is now. The traditional methods of yesteryear, newspaper ads, employment agencies and help wanted signs are now quickly become obsolete, like the 8-track player and the landline phones," Bayardo also wrote on his website.

At the end of his journey he plans to write a book about his experience.

"I plan to also use this trip to visit friends and family, and sightsee along the way. And of course eat! There are many places in this beautiful country that I have always envisioned visiting since I was a young boy, growing up in Tucson."

You can follow Bayardo on his journey across the country and book him for a job.
