TUCSON, Ariz. - A teenage boy was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries Thursday night after a crash near Interstate 10 and Wilmot Road.
Tucson police Sgt. Pete Dugan said the teen was riding a quad northbound on Wilmot when a truck driven by a man and headed southbound made a turn in front of him.
The teen is being treated at the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The truck driver, who was riding with his child, was arrested and faces felony DUI charges and aggravated assault. Additional charges are pending. Speed was also a factor in the wreck.
Police have not yet released the truck driver's name.
The investigation is ongoing. Those with information should call 88-CRIME.
