An arrest has been made in the fatal shooting of 33-year-old Eddie Lopez, Jr.
According to a news release from Tucson Police Department, 18-year-old Angel Francisco Valenzuela was identified as the suspect in the shooting.
Detectives determined Valenzuela lived in Sierra Vista. Tucson Police officers went down to Sierra Vista to assist in the investigation. Tucson SWAT also responded to execute a search warrant on Valenzuela's home.
Officers detained Valenzuela and recovered additional evidence. Valenzuela was transported to Sierra Vista Police headquarters, where TPD detectives interviewed him.
Valenzuela was then transported to Pima County, where he was charged with first degree-murder, armed robber and discharging a firearm within city limits.
The investigation is ongoing.

A man was found shot to death on Tucson's east side Monday night.
According to Tucson Police, officers responded to reports of gunshots heard in the 2000 block of South Sahuara Avenue at about 10:45 p.m.
They arrived to find a body with gunshot wounds.
