The 43rd annual Tucson Meet Yourself festival kicked off its second day Saturday.

Thousands showed to check out nearly 60 vendors showcasing food and cultural items.

Event organizers expect the three-day event located at El Presidio Park and Jacome Plaza to have more than 100,000 visitors.

"My favorite part of it is seeing all the different cultures coming here together. Like this is Tucson, this is what we have all these different cultures," said Jacqueline Dioncon, a festival-goer.

Many got a chance to learn about the culture, but also taste it too.

Visitors spent money to munch on Thai, Mexican, Chinese, Filipino Greek, and many other foods representing the culture here in Tucson.

Many visitors say they are planning to spend $20-$40 a day.

Event organizers expect the festival to have a $3.5 million impact on the local economy from people coming out of town to attend this event.

The festival's last day is tomorrow from 11-6 p.m..
