TUCSON, Ariz. — Banner Children's at Diamond Children's Medical Center hosts therapists from Integrative Touch for a playdate Sunday.

The playdate will provide a hands-on therapeutic experience and healing for kids with painful medical treatments, chemotherapy and long hospital stays.

In a statement, Integrative Touch program manager Katie Frazee said, “We work to reduce stress, anxiety, and pain and improve overall health outcomes.”

The children and their families will get to play games, make artwork, listen to music, and practice health techniques from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Diamond Children's, 1501 N. Campbell Avenue.
