For the Nogales community, the past week has been filled with sadness and disbelief after Officer Jesus Cordova was shot and killed.

Since his death, the community has come together for memorials and vigils in his honor.

For one last time, several law enforcement agencies from across the state and hundreds of people attended Officer Cordova's funeral service.

As people gathered at Nogales High School's Performing Arts Center, everyone wanted to pay their respects to Cordova and his family for his ultimate sacrifice.

After the mass, another ceremony was held outside the performing arts center where the Nogales Police Department and other law enforcement agencies took part in saying their final goodbyes.

Before heading to the cemetery, Alyssa, Cordova, was given a burial flag so she could keep forever.

Alyssa Cordova says she know she has gained an angel in heaven and will never be alone, even during the birth of her fourth child.
